My wife and I were looking for a very specific place to spend a week in October, catching the last of the Mallorca summer sunshine. We wanted somewhere private and secluded, yet also within a short distance to the village of Deià. We wanted to be tucked away in the mountains but still enjoy amazing sea views. We wanted a salt water pool but also wanted it heated just in case the weather turned. We wanted a place where we could choose to stay in for dinner without feeling like we’d missed out on a special evening. Ultimately, we were looking for a place that felt like our home away from home — somewhere that someone had taken the time for attention to the smallest of details — from the well stocked kitchen and choice of quality crockery to the freshest bed linen and generous sized towels for the sun loungers.

Within moments of arriving at Son Jazmin, it was clear that Heather and Terry had ticked every single box for us. The property is tasteful, pristine and immaculately presented. Mya’s arrival instructions were extremely helpful and the welcome pack of food contained delicious local produce.

With only a one-week stay, each day was a dilemma between exploring that beautiful northwest part of the island or letting time slow down while relaxing in the luxury of the villa. Our week was simply exquisite but it passed all too quickly. Our solution was to book a 2‑week stay next October and we cannot wait to return!
